- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We adopted 2 puppies from Northern Critters. While they were being fostered in the Sault before we adopted them they were neutered. Surgery went well. However, its common practice while under anesthesia to check the pups teeth, especially small breeds to make sure their puppy canines are being properly replaced by adult canines. If not, they are generally pulled while they are under. My one pup's were not, and now he has to go under again to have them both removed. I believe it was an oversight, that now incurs additional sedation that should not have been necessary. So he is getting them pulled this week at 9 months.
